About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in mining operations for students pursuing degrees in engineering. You will work on-site at quarries and gravel pits to support production, testing, and field operations. The program includes mentorship and project work designed to connect your classroom studies to real-world infrastructure construction.
What you'll do#
- Embrace the company safety culture and follow all workplace policies.
- Participate in production planning and support manufacturing or crushing operations.
- Perform aggregate sampling and gradation testing at various lab and field sites.
- Operate heavy equipment and assist work crews with manual and skilled labor tasks.
- Complete specific projects as required by the internship program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- A valid driver license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
- Physical ability to wear personal protective equipment, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
