About the role#
The Equipment Intern will support the Equipment department at Colas. You will learn business practices while assisting with daily operations and maintenance workflows. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preventative maintenance workflows, scheduling, and basic inspections.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical logs for shop repairs and field service calls.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the department.
- Take on special projects and other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be actively working towards a college degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong initiative and basic math skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication.
