About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Accounting Internship for Summer 2027 based in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. You will work directly with Regional Controllers and Staff Accountants to gain exposure to industry operations. The program focuses on applying classroom concepts to business tasks and contributing to company goals through project work.
What you'll do#
- Embrace and support the company safety culture and initiatives.
- Follow the company code of ethics and all workplace policies.
- Assist with inventory transactions and physical measurements.
- Perform job costing and learn about internal controls.
- Collaborate with operations teams to improve efficiencies.
- Use multiple computer systems to execute a full range of accounting functions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with MS Office products.
