About the role#
As a Data Science Intern on the Strategy, Execution, & Analytics team, you will work with product and engineering groups to turn data into business decisions. You will build analytics models and systems that scale insights across the company. This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience at a crypto-native company, including mentorship from senior data scientists and exposure to how data shapes product development.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with product teams to create analyses and build models that drive business outcomes.
- Support the design and execution of experiments, including A/B tests and causal inference methods.
- Build and maintain analytical datasets and pipelines to ensure data integrity.
- Distill complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Partner with senior team members on analytical deep dives to address complex business problems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BA/BS or graduate degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Economics.
- Coursework or project experience in statistical modeling, data analysis, or a related quantitative field.
- Familiarity with SQL for data analysis and Python for programming or modeling.
- Demonstrated interest in experimentation, causal inference, or machine learning through coursework or projects.
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight.
