About the role#
As a Learning & Development Intern, you will join the People organization to support programs that help Coinbase employees grow. This role sits at the intersection of instructional design and AI. You will build learning content, coordinate programs, and use data to improve our learning portfolio. This is a 12-week, full-time, paid internship scheduled for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Build and update learning content like presentations, guides, videos, and Confluence pages using AI tools.
- Coordinate and produce instructor-led learning sessions and offsites, from scheduling to day-of logistics and audience engagement.
- Prototype AI-assisted learning experiences, including adaptive practice exercises, simulations, and on-demand resources.
- Analyze program evaluation and engagement data with AI assistance to find insights and suggest improvements.
- Maintain program documentation and communication channels so employees can find learning opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or certificate program in adult education, HR, organizational psychology, instructional design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, specifically Slides, Sheets, and Docs, with experience creating polished materials.
- Prior experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations role managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Hands-on experience using generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude to draft and design content.
- Ability to exercise human judgment when reviewing AI-generated output and a commitment to using these tools responsibly.
