About the role#
We are looking for an engineering intern to join our team to support and modernize our enterprise legacy applications. You will work hands-on with Java-based systems while using AI tools to speed up development, improve code quality, and enhance user experience.
What you'll do#
- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of legacy Java applications.
- Use AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT to assist with debugging, refactoring, and feature development.
- Find opportunities where AI can improve workflows, UI components, or backend logic.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze, document, and resolve technical issues and bugs.
- Write clean, documented code and assist with testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Eligibility for a co-op or internship placement.
- Preferred expertise in AI/Machine Learning, Java development, and Python programming.
- Clear communication skills, a sense of ownership, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work full time from Monday to Friday for a duration of 4, 8, or 12 months.

- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday.
- Compensation: $20 to $24 per hour.
