About the role#
As a Data Management and Reporting Intern, you will support the enterprise data strategy and reporting functions for our investment management software. This role provides hands-on experience with data governance, investment analytics, and business reporting workflows within a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Maintain datasets for client portfolios, investment performance, market signals, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and deliver periodic reports and dashboards for internal teams and clients.
- Perform data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Document data definitions, lineage, and reporting standards.
- Participate in cross-team meetings to discuss data workflows.
- Generate ad-hoc analytics with clear, actionable outputs.
- Organize and archive reports to meet compliance and governance requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or junior in a Bachelor program in Data Science, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Excel, SQL, or Python for data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI and database technology is preferred.
- Familiarity with investment management concepts and an interest in regulatory and compliance aspects of financial data are preferred.

- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in New York, New York.
