2026 Summer College Internship Program – [Municipal Court]

About the role#

The Municipal Court of Atlanta offers an internship program designed to provide students with practical experience in municipal government operations. Interns work under direct supervision, following established procedures to support the daily functions of the department. This is a paid, on-site position for the Summer 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Perform a variety of administrative and project-based tasks.
• Participate in on-the-job training regarding operational policies and work procedures.
• Collect data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Create presentations for staff members.
• Attend project team meetings.
• Assist with clerical duties such as filing and answering phones.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in high school, or pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Political Science, Public Health, Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective planning, organizational, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to quickly learn new information and independently complete assigned tasks.

• Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
• Modality: This position requires mandatory on-site, in-office work.
• Compensation: $15 per hour.
