About the role#
This part-time internship involves working directly with an assigned administrator to support office operations. You will help the team with daily tasks and contribute to projects that align with the goals of City Colleges of Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Handle daily office functions, including data entry, filing, and preparing documents.
- Create and track project work plans with clear timelines.
- Research and analyze information for various projects.
- Talk with internal and external partners to gather data.
- Attend meetings to stay informed on your assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors degree program with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Students with an Associates degree or at least 60 credit hours who plan to transfer to a 4-year school are also eligible.
- A high school diploma or equivalent certificate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your time.
- Ability to analyze problems and communicate clearly in writing and speech.
