About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Kindred, North Dakota. You will work on-site during the Winter or Summer 2027 terms. This role provides hands-on experience in agronomy sales and plant operations, allowing you to work directly with producers and gain insight into how our business functions.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field problem solving.
- Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to share with customers and the agronomy team.
- Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
- Create written reports and present findings to supervisors or customers.
- Learn the features and benefits of our agronomy products and services.
- Help with over-the-counter sales, product delivery, and general warehouse or plant operations.
- Use the Agris program for invoicing and inventory management.
- Maintain equipment and facilities while following all safety and environmental policies.
- Perform custom application tasks if qualified.
- Assist other departments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Ag Business, Crop Science, or another agriculture-related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Prior knowledge or experience in agriculture is preferred.
