About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Valley City, North Dakota. You will work on-site to gain hands-on experience in agronomy sales and plant operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support local producers and learn how our business functions.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field problem solving.
- Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials, then present your findings to customers and supervisors.
- Apply integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
- Learn the features and benefits of our agronomy products and services.
- Help with over-the-counter sales and product delivery.
- Perform warehouse and agronomy plant operations.
- Use Agris software for inventory management and invoicing.
- Maintain equipment and facilities while following environmental and safety policies.
- Perform custom application if you are qualified.
- Assist other departments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other agriculture-related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous knowledge or experience in agriculture.
- Previous internship experience.
