About the role#
As an Agronomy Sales Intern, you will work on-site in Miles City, Montana. This role supports our agronomy team by working directly with producers to solve field issues and provide service. You will gain experience across multiple areas of our operations, from field work to facility management.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field problem solving.
- Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to share findings with customers and the team.
- Apply integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
- Write reports and present your findings to supervisors or customers.
- Learn the features and benefits of our products and services.
- Help with over-the-counter sales, product delivery, and warehouse operations.
- Use the Agris software for invoicing and inventory management.
- Maintain equipment, facilities, and a safe, compliant work environment.
- Perform custom application work if qualified.
- Assist other departments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other agriculture-related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous knowledge or experience in agriculture is preferred.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
