About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in agronomy sales and operations in Corsica, South Dakota. You will work directly with producers and the agronomy team to support crop production and customer service. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2026.
What you'll do#
- Assist specialists with crop scouting, soil sampling, and solving field agronomic problems.
- Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to share information with customers.
- Apply integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
- Write and present reports to supervisors and customers.
- Use the Agris computer program for inventory management and invoicing.
- Help with over-the-counter sales, product delivery, and warehouse operations.
- Maintain equipment and facilities while following safety and environmental policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture degree program, such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Background knowledge or experience in agriculture is helpful.
