About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Lynden, Washington. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical skills in agronomy sales and operations. The internship runs during the Winter and Summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the Agronomy Sales Representative with field tasks like crop scouting, soil sampling, and solving agronomic problems.
- Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to share findings with customers and the team.
- Use integrated pest management techniques to set treatment thresholds.
- Create written reports for supervisors and customers.
- Learn about agronomy products and services while helping with counter sales and product deliveries.
- Assist with warehouse and plant operations, including inventory management and invoicing through the Agris system.
- Maintain equipment and facilities while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies.
- Perform custom application tasks if qualified.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Practical agriculture experience or background knowledge is helpful.
