About the role#
The Agronomy Operations Intern will work on-site in Gettysburg, South Dakota. This paid, full-time internship is available for Winter 2027 and Summer 2027. You will work alongside experienced professionals to build practical skills in the agriculture industry.
What you'll do#
- Learn general agronomy skills, including crop scouting, product application, and mixing procedures.
- Handle seed and agronomy operations, including product delivery and truck driving.
- Manage inventory quality and maintain accurate records.
- Perform housecleaning tasks to ensure a compliant work environment.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for equipment like sprayers, floaters, conveyors, and trucks.
- Provide customer service and support to our agriculture clients.
- Follow state, local, and CHS safety and environmental policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture-related degree program, such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- An agriculture background or previous internship experience is helpful but not required.
