About the role#
As an Agronomy Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the farming industry. You will work alongside professionals to learn about crop protection, nutrient products, and seed operations. This is a paid, full-time internship based in Long Prairie, Minnesota, covering the Winter and Summer 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Learn core agronomy skills, including scouting, mixing procedures, and product delivery.
- Perform daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for equipment like sprayers, trucks, conveyors, and floaters.
- Keep the work environment clean and compliant with safety and environmental policies.
- Provide customer service to support local farming operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, tractors, and conveyors.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.
- A CDL license and forklift certification are preferred.
