About the role#
China Telecom Americas is looking for a Corporate Operations Intern to join the team in Markham. This position focuses on internal operations, compliance, and corporate administration. You will gain hands-on experience in contract management and internal controls while working across different departments.
What you'll do#
- Track contract lifecycle milestones and keep contract databases up to date.
- Perform routine sanctions screening and due diligence on third parties.
- Maintain and update internal compliance policies and documentation.
- Organize corporate records, such as contracts and organizational charts.
- Draft and manage onboarding paperwork for vendors, agents, and customers.
- Support internal audits by organizing evidence and documentation.
- Help prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for operations meetings.
What you'll need#
- You are currently enrolled as a university student.
- You have strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
- You are comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- You communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
- You can handle sensitive information with discretion.

- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time role.
- Term: Rolling internship duration of 6 to 12 months.
