About the role#
This role supports the Language Supports and Services Department by building online tools for data visualization and reporting. You will work with the department director and information systems teams to ensure student data remains accurate and secure. Your work helps inform decisions at the classroom, school, district, and state levels. You will also create technical documentation to guide staff through data analysis and program evaluation.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain data visualizations using business intelligence tools.
- Create, organize, and maintain databases for students, teachers, and schools.
- Protect the integrity and confidentiality of all research and data.
- Lead training sessions on data and assessment literacy for district staff.
- Identify and interpret trends in complex data sets.
- Communicate findings to various audiences through written reports and oral presentations.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience and certifications.
- Proven experience working as a data analyst.
- Working knowledge of SQL, reporting packages like Tableau, PowerBI, and SSRS, and databases.
- Understanding of data warehousing and ETL practices.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Ability to explain complex data systems to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.

- This is a full-time, on-site position located in Englewood, Colorado.
- The role is professional technical and exempt.
