About the role#
This internship provides experience in fundraising and administration within a nonprofit arts and cultural organization. You will work with the Development Team on tasks ranging from donor cultivation to stewardship.
What you'll do#
- Support donor stewardship through mailings and the delivery of gratitude packets.
- Assist with the planning and execution of stewardship events.
- Perform prospect research to find potential new Cheekwood Society supporters and business sponsors.
- Identify and solicit small businesses to sponsor events.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a Junior or Senior undergraduate student, or a recent graduate from an accredited university.
- Enrollment or recent degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Arts Administration, or related fields.
- Interest in fundraising, relationship management, sales, research, event planning, or nonprofit leadership.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Nashville, Tennessee.
- The term runs from January 25, 2027, to April 30, 2027.
- This is a part-time position requiring 15 hours per week.
- Compensation is $17.00 per hour.
