About the role#
This is a student position based in St. Constant, Quebec. You will work 16 hours per week on weekends, with the schedule increasing to 40 hours per week during the summer. This role focuses on the daily care and well-being of laboratory animals.
What you'll do#
- Maintain a clean living environment for animals by cleaning rooms and cages according to industry welfare standards.
- Handle animals with care.
- Participate in the physical and social activities of the animals.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least Secondary 4.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, stooping, and lifting up to 20-25 kg.
- A genuine interest in working with animals.
- Strong team spirit.
Location & details#
- Location: St. Constant, Quebec.
- Work schedule: Every Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 am to 2:15 pm.
- Compensation: $18 per hour.
- Additional notes: Free parking is available on-site.
