Management Advisory Analyst/Associate (Energy)

About the role#

As an Analyst or Associate in the Energy practice, you will work closely with senior colleagues to deliver strategy consulting projects. This role involves investigating market rules, regulations, and industry trends to provide data-driven insights for clients, including electric utilities, investors, and renewable energy developers.

What you'll do#

• Conduct independent research to identify and analyze data using spreadsheets and statistical programs.
• Investigate and analyze market rules, regulations, industry trends, and other key documents.
• Facilitate industry studies using secondary research and primary research methods, such as surveys or interviews.
• Generate sections of client reports, presentations, and analytical workbooks under supervision.
• Contribute to internal discussions to integrate findings into broader project deliverables.

What you'll need#

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with strong academic performance.
• Academic background in fields such as Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, or Civil), or Political Science.
• Curious and analytical mindset with the ability to apply creative approaches to non-standard problems.
• Effective written communication and oral presentation skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Clear and demonstrated interest in consulting through coursework or previous work experience.
