About the role#
This position is for 2027 Bachelor's or Master's graduates looking to join the Energy practice. You will work alongside senior colleagues to deliver strategy consulting projects that address specific client needs. The role involves a mix of independent research, data analysis, and the preparation of client-facing deliverables. You will contribute to internal discussions to help build insights and integrate findings into broader project reports and presentations.
What you'll do#
- Conduct independent research to identify, collect, and analyze data using spreadsheets and statistical software.
- Investigate and analyze market rules, regulations, industry trends, and other relevant documentation.
- Facilitate industry, market structure, and competitor-positioning studies using secondary research, surveys, or interviews.
- Conduct interviews with clients or external stakeholders.
- Generate sections of client reports, presentations, and Excel workbooks under the supervision of senior team members.
- Develop your knowledge of the energy industry and consulting methodologies.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with strong academic performance.
- Demonstrated interest in consulting through coursework or work experience.
- Curious and analytical mindset with the ability to apply creative approaches to non-standard problems.
- Effective written communication and oral presentation skills.
- High level of attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling application cycle.
- Work is performed on-site in Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; or Washington, DC.
