    About the role#

    This position is for a Cyber & Forensic Technology Consulting Analyst/Associate based in Toronto. The role focuses on supporting security and privacy investigations, including incident response, cyber due diligence, and litigation support. You will work with a team to analyze digital information and provide fact-based solutions for complex client concerns.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with security and privacy investigations regarding data security matters, breaches, and fraud.
    • Perform forensic analysis of digital information using investigative techniques and scientific reasoning.
    • Defensibly collect digital evidence and maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation.
    • Leverage programming skills in Python, T-SQL, VBA, Excel, and other relevant languages to support investigations.
    • Identify and research system compromises to determine the scope of data theft or unauthorized activity.
    • Communicate investigative findings to team members, clients, and other professionals, including assisting in the drafting of technical reports.
    • Develop innovative tools to support the evolving forensic landscape.

    What you'll need#

    • Candidates must be pursuing or hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or Summer 2027.
    • Academic focus in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Business Administration.
    • Strong understanding of computer operating systems, software, and hardware.
    • Experience conducting digital forensic analyses using commercial and open-source forensic tools.
    • Solid understanding of evidence handling procedures and chain-of-custody requirements.
    • Effective written and oral communication skills.

    • Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Modality: On-site (expected 3 to 4 days per week in the office).
    • Type: Full-time.
    • Compensation: This is a paid position.
