About the role#
The Labor & Employment practice provides support for litigation disputes involving compensation, hiring, promotion, and termination. We also assist employers with proactive studies of employment practices and monitoring settlement agreements. As an intern, you will work alongside senior colleagues on live client consulting projects. This program provides an overview of our business and the analyst experience. Successful interns may be offered a full-time position after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Conduct economic and industry research to understand case issues.
- Perform financial and economic analyses and build valuation models.
- Program models and perform regression analyses using Stata or SAS.
- Use various data sources to support your analysis.
- Conduct interview-based research for commercial and government clients.
- Review and summarize analyst reports, client documents, and trade press.
- Help produce research summaries, expert reports, and findings presentations.
- Ensure the reliability of all analysis through quality control reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current Bachelor’s or Master’s (non-MBA) candidate graduating in Summer or Fall 2027.
- Academic focus on Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- Understanding of economic, financial, or accounting concepts.
- Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.
- Strong analytical thinking and curiosity.
- Clear written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, leadership, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team and manage your time effectively.
- A clear interest in consulting.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, on-site internship located in either College Station, TX or Tallahassee, FL.
- The program runs from early January 2027 through early May 2027.
- Expected hours are 20 to 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 5 PM.
