About the role#
This internship supports the planning, coordination, and execution of CSI events and employee programs across multiple locations. You will help keep event logistics, employee participation, item selections, orders, and shipments organized. The role also assists the Marketing team with graphic design and formatting projects.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate event needs including venues, catering, entertainment, A/V, and signage.
- Maintain event timelines, budgets, vendor contracts, and attendee information.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to keep activities on schedule.
- Manage employee apparel and swag programs, from tracking selections to final distribution.
- Organize, pack, and ship event materials.
- Create and edit graphics for signage, presentations, and flyers using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Prepare, format, and proof marketing materials for print and digital use.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university program, preferably in Communications or Event Management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in event planning, event coordination, or project coordination.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Location: Springfield, MO.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Hours: 15-25 hours per week.
- Pay: $18 - $20 per hour.
