About the role#
Centerstone is looking for a Master Level Intern to join our rural outpatient clinic in Tullahoma. This is a full-time, unpaid internship position. You will work with a diverse clientele and must be comfortable serving clients of all ages. There are no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements for this role.
What you'll do#
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
- Perform initial assessments for new clients.
- Maintain and update client treatment plans.
- Complete all required clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively through written, verbal, and virtual methods.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree and current enrollment in a Master's degree program for professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work.
- Status as a student in good standing with your academic institution.
- Comfort working with clients across all age groups.
- Previous experience in mental health is preferred but not required.
