About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to learn about the Managed Care industry while contributing to projects within People Analytics. You will work with HR data, reporting tools, and analytics processes to improve data quality and deliver insights. You will also participate in training sessions to build your technical and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Build and enhance dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Workday, or similar tools to support business decisions.
- Audit and validate workforce datasets to find missing, inaccurate, or inconsistent information.
- Analyze workforce trends and metrics related to hiring, onboarding, employee mobility, engagement, and retention.
- Create reusable tools, templates, reports, and KPI scorecards.
- Document reporting logic, metric definitions, and data validation processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college.
- Majors in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and charts.
- Basic SQL knowledge, including querying, filtering, and joins.
- Experience with data cleaning, validation, and analysis.
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts like averages, distributions, and trend analysis.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The position is remote.
