About the role#
This internship offers a hands-on look at concrete construction projects. You will work alongside engineers, managers, and field teams to see how classroom concepts translate to real-world applications. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and estimating to active construction execution.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and estimating stages to develop efficient, safe, and economical form systems.
- Prepare formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for field crews.
- Monitor project safety, costs, and schedules alongside the project team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve structural design concerns.
- Assist in the preparation of quantity surveys, formwork estimates, and project proposals.
- Coordinate material purchases, deliveries, and tracking to ensure effective use of company resources.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or BIM Modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Willingness to travel and work on projects outside of the office area for extended periods.
