About the role#
Ceco Concrete Construction L.L.C. is hiring a Construction/Design Engineer Intern for their Denver office. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship offered on a rolling basis. You will work alongside the project team to support the planning, design, and execution phases of concrete construction projects.
What you'll do#
- Help the team define sequential steps for project processes and adjust schedules as needed.
- Support project planning and estimation to incorporate efficient, safe, and economical form systems.
- Assist in creating accurate formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for field crews.
- Monitor project safety, costs, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve structural design concerns.
- Complete assigned duties to support general project operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or BIM Modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Understanding of safety standards and OSHA requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize complex information regarding plans and jobsite productivity.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
Location & details#
- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Pay: $24.00 to $26.50 per hour, based on experience and education.
- Work Modality: On-site.
