About the role#
The Construction Intern supports both the planning and execution phases of concrete construction projects. You will gain hands-on experience in formwork design, project estimating, scheduling, and safety tracking. Working alongside project teams, you will help resolve design challenges, coordinate materials, and prepare proposals. This is a one-on-one learning experience where you will see how classroom knowledge translates into real-world application.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and estimating stage of projects to ensure efficient, safe, and economical form systems.
- Assist with the preparation of formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for field crews.
- Work with the project team to monitor safety, cost, and scheduling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve structural design concerns.
- Aid in the preparation of quantity surveys, formwork estimates, and project proposals.
- Coordinate material purchases, deliveries, tracking, and forecasting to ensure resource utilization.
- Manage special projects and complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Some knowledge of AutoCAD or BIM Modeling.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to travel and work on projects outside of the office area for extended periods.

- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
