2027 Summer Corporate Intern – Digital and Analytics

About the role#

The Digital and Analytics internship is a 12-week, full-time assignment offering hands-on experience within Cat Digital. Interns join teams focused on driving innovation, digital channels, and data-driven strategies to support business growth and customer experiences. You will participate in diverse project responsibilities and gain networking opportunities across the organization.

What you'll do#

• Applications Engineering: Design and develop customer-centric digital experiences, including mobile applications, eCommerce, and digital marketing tools.
• Digital Platform: Simplify enterprise digital infrastructure to improve data availability, quality, and security, with exposure to DevOps, cybersecurity, and telematics.
• Data Analytics: Apply analytical techniques to large datasets from IoT-connected assets, contributing to projects involving anomaly detection, business analytics, and data visualization.
• Dealer & Customer Support: Drive the deployment of digital products and support the maturation of data management processes.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a full-time, 4-year degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Current participation in a Caterpillar student program.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 (no rounding).
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Ability to relocate to the internship location for the duration of the program.
