About the role#
CAS is seeking a Content Operations Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time position is based on-site at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. You will join our professional teams to gain hands-on experience with scientific data and process development.
What you'll do#
- Complete an initial training assignment to learn the data structures of commercial chemical information.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and deliver process improvements for handling submitted chemical data.
- Build professional relationships across the organization through the Summer Intern Program.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific discipline.
- Completion of at least one collegiate level chemistry course.
- Familiarity with chemical nomenclature.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Term: May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
