About the role#
CAS is hiring an AI Workplace Productivity Intern for the summer of 2027. You will work within the Workplace Technology team to help improve business processes using AI tools like Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365. This role focuses on real-world business outcomes rather than software development. You will help teams automate repetitive tasks, speed up data analysis, and improve knowledge sharing for senior executives and business units.
What you'll do#
- Identify ways to improve productivity for the CAS Leadership Team.
- Interview employees to understand their current workflows and pain points.
- Build, test, and document AI-assisted workflows for tasks like Excel reporting, document summarization, and meeting follow-ups.
- Create quick-reference guides, templates, and demonstrations to help staff use AI tools effectively.
- Research best practices for prompt engineering and responsible AI use in an enterprise setting.
- Gather user feedback to help recommend future experiments and adoption strategies.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 apps, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Capability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

- Term: May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
