About the role#
This is an 11-week, full-time internship within the Facilities and Workplace Services team. You will spend the summer gaining hands-on experience in event planning and workplace operations while building professional skills. The program runs from June through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and delivery of office events, celebrations, leadership visits, and employee engagement programs.
- Manage event calendars, timelines, checklists, and run-of-show documents.
- Coordinate logistics including catering, audiovisual support, signage, and room setup.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to track deliverables and confirm details.
- Draft event communications and invitations.
- Provide onsite support during events, including registration, troubleshooting, and breakdown.
- Gather feedback and help refine event processes and templates.
- Act as a culture ambassador to support an inclusive office environment.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Eligibility to complete a full-time internship.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on assignments.
- Clear, friendly written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, service-minded approach with the flexibility to handle changing plans.
- Comfort working with employees, leaders, and vendors at all levels.
- Proficiency with common workplace and collaboration tools.
- Interest in event planning, hospitality, or community programs.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
- You will work in a hybrid capacity, with onsite presence required in the Boston office approximately three days per week.
- You must be available to support occasional events outside standard business hours.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
