About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Operations Internship based in Memphis, Tennessee for Summer 2027. You will spend your time working directly on the warehouse floor to observe, support, and improve operational processes. This role offers hands-on experience in a healthcare distribution environment.
What you'll do#
- Partner with site leaders to identify, analyze, and implement new or improved processes.
- Collaborate with functional teams in areas such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and transporting.
- Analyze existing key performance indicators to improve productivity.
- Design workflows to ensure operational effectiveness and develop reporting capabilities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Management, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, Lean Six Sigma, or other improvement techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
- Unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
