About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support our team in maintaining 100% occupancy at our residential community. You will serve as a primary contact for prospective and current residents, handling front desk tasks and ensuring our property makes a great first impression. This role requires a balance of administrative work and direct sales, with a focus on delivering high quality customer service.
What you'll do#
- Greet prospective clients and answer incoming leasing calls.
- Present apartment homes and community amenities to visitors.
- Close sales and follow up with interested clients.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
- Participate in lease file audits and required company training programs.
- Assist with planning community events and various property projects.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path.
- Perform on-call duties, including lock-outs and nightly rounds.
- Work evenings and weekends to support community operations.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder of the community.
- Requirement to live on a designated community floor.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property in various weather conditions.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
