About the role#
Join the Systems Division Sales Team as a Data Center Go-to-Market intern for the summer of 2027. You will support the growth of Cadence data center solutions across North America. This role offers exposure to systems technologies and the operations of a global technology company. You will work alongside technical experts and application engineers to solve engineering challenges for our customers.
What you'll do#
- Develop market and account intelligence reports to track new data center buildouts and the companies involved.
- Create customer intelligence reports, including org charts and contact directories.
- Track the movement of key champions between Cadence accounts and prospects.
- Learn internal systems to assist with the development of customer proposals and quotes.
- Aggregate and organize internal executive reporting for the Data Center business.
- Present your findings and project deliverables to the team and leadership.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering, computer science, or a business or engineering-technology discipline with a technical focus. Master's degree students will be considered for exceptional candidates.
- Coursework or interest in mechanical thermal engineering, electronics, PCB design, or semiconductor and systems design.
- Ability to manage multiple complex assignments simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Excel or general data analysis.
- Strong communication, presentation, assessment, and analytical skills.
- Exposure to CFD analysis, Salesforce, or Tableau is a plus.
