About the role#
CACI is hiring a Software Development Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a part-time, on-site position based in Oklahoma City. You will join a team of developers in an Agile Scrum environment to support software design, testing, and documentation.
What you'll do#
- Write software code and produce specifications using .NET/C#, JAVA, and JavaScript.
- Build front-end and back-end console applications.
- Migrate complex batch jobs to Boomi.
- Learn and code Workday integrations.
- Conduct impact analysis for software changes and perform unit testing.
- Support formal testing in a controlled environment before production deployment.
- Develop software user manuals and provide input for user training materials.
- Estimate level of effort for development tasks and suggest system improvements.
- Maintain knowledge of back-office systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science or a related field.
- Coursework or experience in C++ programming.
- Knowledge of multiple object-oriented programming languages.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with programmers, system engineers, and test engineers.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- A desire to learn Workday integrations.
