About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the operations and processes across the Bunge value chain. You will work in crush, refine, packaging, or grain elevator facilities. The program follows a structure of 70% hands-on work, 20% informal learning, and 10% formal training. You must be willing to relocate for the duration of the assignment.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the day-to-day operations of a Bunge facility.
- Develop a thorough understanding of plant processes.
- Respond to inquiries from supervisors, mentors, and program managers.
- Travel to various Bunge locations for training and exposure.
- Assist staff in evaluating changing operational conditions.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Agricultural, Electrical, or Instrumentation & Controls Engineering.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Proficiency in standard PC applications.
- A collaborative and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and changing demands.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The standard work schedule is 8 AM to 5 PM, subject to modification based on location.
- Placements include Council Bluffs, Iowa; Bellevue, Ohio; and Decatur, Indiana.
