About the role#
The Bryn Mawr Trust Advisors Summer Internship offers college students the chance to gain hands-on experience in the wealth management industry. You will work within a team that partners with high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions to reach their financial goals. This position provides insight into how advisors coordinate investment management, financial planning, trust services, and lending to address client needs.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside professionals across multiple business lines on real-world projects and operations.
- Participate in a comprehensive learning program focused on professional development.
- Support and present on research, projects, or operational activities to senior leadership.
- Build professional connections through mentorship and peer collaboration.
- Engage with company leaders during networking events and discussions.
- Participate in volunteer initiatives, employee resource groups, and social events.
What you'll need#
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed at least one full year of college by May 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fundamental computer skills.
- Strong oral and written communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation for commuting.
Location & details#
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (early June to mid-August).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Modality: On-site, up to 5 days per week.
- Requirements: Candidates must be available for in-person orientation and interviews. You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
