About the role#
As a Quality Engineering Co-op, you will work with manufacturing and engineering professionals responsible for producing outboard and sterndrive motors. You will join a team on the plant floor, collaborating with managers, supervisors, and technicians. This role offers hands-on experience where you will own and manage assigned projects from start to finish.
What you'll do#
- Test, analyze, and report results on internal and external quality concerns.
- Interface with customers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collect and analyze data from manufacturing and warranty processes.
- Mitigate risk through proactive analysis of manufacturing processes and systems.
- Develop professional relationships with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS program with an emphasis in Quality, Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum second semester sophomore status with at least 48 completed credits.
- Strong math background with experience in basic statistics, such as distribution analysis.
- Advanced computer skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to enroll in a formalized university co-op program.
Location & details#
- Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time (40+ hours per week) during a full co-op term in Spring, Summer, or Fall 2027.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
- Note: This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
