About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in how marketing drives organizational results at Mercury Marine. You will assist with brand marketing, product launches, digital marketing, and project logistics. This is a full-time role based in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, running from May through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support marketing campaigns and activations to drive brand awareness.
- Work across digital platforms including web, marketing automation, social media, email, and PIM systems.
- Assist with social media content creation, influencer delivery, and asset auditing.
- Implement SEO strategies and tactics.
- Analyze industry and competitor information to suggest improvements for content and user experience.
- Field requests from various teams and gather necessary marketing assets.
- Prepare competitive analysis and benchmark documentation.
- Provide general administrative and project support, including presentation development and collateral creation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum second-semester sophomore standing with at least 48 completed credit hours.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for interacting with internal staff and external parties.
- Ability to work independently as a resourceful and dependable team member.
- Preferred experience with digital marketing CRM, website CMS, and social media platforms.
Location & details#
- Location: Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $18.00 - $27.50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
