About the role#
Brailsford & Dunlavey is seeking a part-time Project Intern for the Fall 2026 semester in our Atlanta office. This role is for students who want hands-on experience while continuing their academic studies. You will work alongside experienced advisors on projects at the intersection of real estate, planning, finance, and strategy. You are an active contributor to client engagements rather than an observer.
What you'll do#
- Perform data collection, market research, and industry analysis to support client work.
- Conduct in-person and telephone interviews, focus group facilitation, and survey design.
- Provide support for space planning, financial modeling, and quantitative analysis.
- Synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- Develop presentation materials and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support quality control and client satisfaction efforts.
- Identify new analytical tools and improve existing models.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate (junior or senior preferred) or graduate student.
- Pursuing a degree in real estate, urban planning, architecture, business, finance, construction management, economics, or higher education administration.
- Previous work or internship experience in real estate, urban planning, economic development, finance, or construction is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with real estate, finance, and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation.
