About the role#
The IT Operations & Security team is looking for an intern to maintain our device fleet, support our compliance program, and improve internal tooling. You will gain exposure to enterprise IT operations and security while working on meaningful tasks. This role includes a dedicated capstone project that you will own from start to finish.
What you'll do#
- Manage and troubleshoot devices across MDM platforms, specifically Mosyle for Apple and Intune/Entra ID for Windows.
- Resolve internal and customer-facing IT support tickets, including network issues.
- Use Vanta to collect and organize evidence for SOC 2 and other compliance requirements.
- Design and develop an internal software auditing tool to track software usage and efficiency.
- Own a capstone project throughout the summer to present at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or completion of a relevant degree program, such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering, as of Summer 2027.
- Experience troubleshooting macOS and Windows at a user level, including file systems, networking, and permissions.
- Previous experience with a ticketing system.
- A genuine interest in learning about SOC 2, PCI, and WCAG compliance.
- A self-driven work ethic and the comfort to say I do not know, let me find out when faced with a challenge.
