    About the role#

    As a Research and Development Engineering Intern, you will support the development and testing of an ultrasound-based ablation catheter used for Renal Denervation. This role is designed for students interested in medical device innovation and catheter-based therapeutic ultrasound.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist in the design, prototyping, and testing of single-use catheters, including therapy catheters and access sheaths.
    • Design and conduct laboratory experiments and mechanical tests.
    • Analyze data from test results and draw conclusions.
    • Document experimental methods, results, and insights in structured reports and present findings to cross-functional project teams.
    • Collaborate with R&D, Process Development, Design Quality, and Capital Equipment partners to ensure system integration.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
    • Graduation date between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
    • Ability to commit to one of the following full-time internship periods: May 18 – August 7 or May 26 – August 14.
    • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
    • Reliable transportation to and from the Arbor Lakes, MN corporate location.

    • Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota.
    • Term: Summer 2026.
    • Modality: On-site (5 days per week).
    • Employment type: Full-time.
