About the role#
This is a 6-month internship opportunity designed for individuals who have recently completed or are nearing the completion of their studies in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics. You will gain experience in MRP and inventory management by overseeing R&D stock, maintaining accurate digital records, and ensuring the availability of necessary components and equipment.
What you'll do#
- Track raw materials, equipment, shipments, incoming deliveries, and current stock levels.
- Manage inventory using a Master Excel sheet, performing frequent physical counts to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and digital data.
- Prevent supply shortages by monitoring demand and submitting order requests to the purchasing team or office manager.
- Organize storage areas with proper labeling and bins for incoming and outgoing orders.
- Create and maintain supplier purchasing files, including pricing information.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor's degree, either completed or currently in progress.
- Proficiency in MS Office software, specifically Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Demonstrated experience using Excel for inventory tracking and master lists.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks.
