About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in supplier engagement, project management, and ERP systems. You will work on assignments that increase in complexity as you build your skills. The goal is to prepare you for entry-level roles in the industry.
What you'll do#
- Send out Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers and prepare quote comparisons.
- Assist in the setup of new SKUs within SAP.
- Support and attend supplier technical reviews to gain technical knowledge.
- Contribute to project management activities to ensure deadlines are met.
- Organize and analyze data using Microsoft Excel.
- Update supplier and material master data within ERP systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, with a preference for SAP.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach to your work.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
- Candidates must have indefinite U.S. work authorization, as sponsorship is not available for this position.
