About the role#
We are hiring a Logistics/Supply Chain Intern to work at our manufacturing plant in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will support our Shipping, Receiving, and Logistics managers in their daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Help with projects covering inventory control and product configuration.
- Train team members on scanning systems.
- Improve point of use setups, shipments, and general receiving processes.
- Manage tasks in the central warehouse, materials crib, and general stores.
- Identify and assist with continuous improvement opportunities.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and solve problems.
- An outgoing, collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills.
- Local housing within 50 miles of the work location.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Grand Rapids, MI.
- The work is on-site.
- You must be available to work between 15 and 40 hours per week, depending on your class schedule.
- Employment is contingent on passing a drug screen and background check.
- We are unable to provide work authorization sponsorship.
