About the role#
The Human Resources Talent Development Intern works with the North American regional corporate HR team. You will support initiatives focused on learning, training, and talent development. This role involves both strategic projects and operational tasks to help improve associate engagement and organizational growth. This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing talent development and training programs.
- Support content updates and marketing for talent development processes using platforms like SharePoint and Viva Engage.
- Collect and organize content for learning initiatives such as talent pools and rotational development programs.
- Prepare materials for regional talent review meetings and handle follow-up tasks.
- Help onboard training vendors by updating materials and performing quality checks.
- Create and update Power BI dashboards to improve data visibility and support business decisions.
- Participate in talent development information events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Psychology.
- Minimum Junior level standing with at least a 3.0 GPA.
- Experience completing at least one project with documented outcomes.
- Ability to work 20 to 40 hours per week.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- A creative mindset and a commitment to customer service.
- Knowledge of data analytics or trend analysis is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position based in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
- You must be able to work on site for regular meetings and working sessions.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
