About the role#
The Procurement Intern will gain a solid understanding of our business operations while working on real-world projects. You will work within the department to support day-to-day operations, including process improvement, project management, data support, reporting, and documentation. This role offers a mix of collaborative team interaction and opportunities for autonomous work.
What you'll do#
- Take ownership of key projects within the Inventory and Pricing department.
- Handle tasks related to inventory demand planning, purchasing, vendor and customer pricing, sourcing, and master data management.
- Build professional relationships through meetings, events, and one-on-one interactions with leaders and team members.
- Collaborate with various departments across the company to support process automation and improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a two or four-year degree program or graduation within the last year.
- Proficiency with PC for Windows and Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
- Strong skills in data entry, keyboarding, and the use of office equipment and communication systems.
- Ability to effectively plan and organize your work.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- A commitment to providing competent, accurate, and responsive customer service.
