About the role#
The Summer Games is a competitive internship program that places you in a team environment to solve complex customer problems. You will work in a setting that mimics a startup accelerator. This role requires you to work on-site in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop solutions for challenging projects.
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems.
- Receive mentorship from senior leaders.
- Produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
- Prepare and present a final challenge competition presentation to senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R, or Bash.
- Experience with machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms gained through academic or internship work.
- Experience with conducting research and writing software.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field, with an expected graduation date in Winter 2027, 2028, or Spring 2027, 2028.
